In the job search process, the quality of a resume can significantly impact an applicant’s chances of securing employment. Recent research conducted by MIT Sloan Ph.D. student Emma van Inwegen and her colleagues reveals that job applicants who received algorithmic assistance to improve their resumes experienced an ~8% increase in their likelihood of being hired.
